Clientside - Commercial Property Manager

Our client is a UK Property Asset Manager, managing an a significant portfolio of Office and Industrial Assets across the UK. Their North West Regional Team is seeking a Management Surveyor, to be directly responsible for a number of North West based assets.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Take a very “hands on” proactive role in property management
• Carry out regular property inspections.
• Reading and summarising of leases and ensure accurate data is maintained on the property management system and to regularly check update and audit the accuracy of the data
• Take a proactive approach in terms of asset management opportunities and the exploiting of potential initiatives
• Advance planning for critical lease event dates such as reviews, lease expiries and options and assisting with an implementation strategy for these
• Dealing with the tenant queries in a timely and efficient manner
• Draft review and approve service charge budgets
• Review service charge cash flow and budget regularly
• Liaise with the building managers and regional facilities managers to ensure that buildings are well maintained at all times.
• Overseeing refurbishments and minor refits.

They are seeking an ambitious management surveyor to work on there own portfolio of properties dealing with day to day management issues management and professional work to include lettings on a quality portfolio of commercial property.

All candidates with two year’s previous commercial management experience together with landlord and tenant knowledge will be considered. Ideally you will be MRICS qualified, although not essential and assistance and mentoring is on offer for suitable experienced candidates will be given.
